Mike's & Sons is a family-owned and operated outdoor power equipment sales and services store started by Mike Nadeau of Fort Kent. He started his venture in 1988 with $1,300 in hand, in his own garage.
Over 30 years later, Mike's and Sons has grown to two locations (Fort Kent and Presque Isle) and will soon be opening its third in Houlton. Mike has since passed down the company to his sons, Aaron, Matt, and Jon. Aaron and Matt have continued on serving the greater St. John Valley in the Fort Kent location. Jon relocated to central Aroostook County and opened the Presque Isle location in 2014.
We are very thankful for the people of our surrounding communities who have visited our stores, many who we've been able to get to know on a first name basis. Our customers are our first priority, without them we wouldn't be in business. It's with that focus that has allowed us to grow to 11 full-time employees and 6 part-time employees all who focused on providing the best products and services to our customers.
